# MUD Foundation

> MUD Foundation Inc. is Miami's artist-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit working at the intersection of Tech-Centered Arts, Critical Media, and Digital Infrastructure. It produces hybrid (physical + browser-based WebXR) exhibitions, free youth education, public XR art interventions, and an XR platform used by 4,300+ creators, artists, and cultural institutions.

MUD's work connects physical and digital experiences to lower barriers to digital tools, foster creativity, and promote inclusivity. Its WebXR platform is browser-based — no app, install, or headset is required, and experiences run on any device with an internet connection. The foundation is based in Miami, Florida, and its programs have been supported by the NEA, Miami-Dade County, the State of Florida, and WESTAF.
