This update introduces more ways to personalize the MUD XR Platform, organize users and content, and create flexible subscription experiences. From synchronized appearance settings and custom web Pages to Groups management, promotions, and free trials, these additions give users and administrators greater control across XRHub and the wider platform, alongside backend improvements designed to improve loading times and overall performance.

New Features
Appearance — Personalize how the MUD XR Platform looks across your experience.
What It Is
The new Appearance option lets users choose how XRHub is displayed, with System, Light, and Dark modes available directly from the profile menu.
Your selected appearance is synchronized across XRHub, XR Creator Studio, and the Metaverse, creating a consistent visual experience as you move between products.
What Users Can Do
With Appearance settings, users can:
- Use System to follow their device or browser appearance preference.
- Select Light for the light interface.
- Select Dark for the dark interface.
- Keep their selected appearance synchronized across XRHub, XR Creator Studio, and the Metaverse.
Pages — Upload and manage custom web pages directly within a Workspace.
What It Is
The Pages app provides a way to add custom web content to a Workspace. Users can upload a ZIP package containing the HTML and supporting files for a website, and XRHub automatically generates a unique route for the Page.
What Users Can Do
With Pages, users can:
- Upload custom web pages within a Workspace.
- Package HTML and supporting website files in a ZIP file.
- Manage uploaded Pages from XRHub.
- Use the unique route automatically generated when a Page is uploaded.
Groups Management — Organize users and manage shared access more efficiently.
What It Is
The Groups tab makes it easier to manage multiple users together. Each Group can be assigned a Role and a Subscription Template, allowing members to share the same administrative permissions and resource limits without requiring individual account configuration.
What Users Can Do
With Groups, administrators can:
- Assign a shared role — All Group members inherit the same permission level.
- Assign a shared subscription template — Members inherit the same limits.
- Manage group members — Add, remove, or promote users.
Promotions — Add percentage-based discounts to subscription Tiers.
What It Is
Promotions allow percentage-based discounts to be configured for a Tier. Administrators can create multiple promotions and define details such as the customer-facing code, discount percentage, and optional availability period.
What Users Can Do
When configuring a promotion, administrators can:
- Add the promotion Code customers will use.
- Add an optional customer-facing Display name.
- Set the Discount (%).
- Define an optional Starts at date.
- Define an optional Ends at date.
- Add multiple promotions to a Tier.
- Remove a promotion before creating or updating the Tier.
Free Trials — Let customers try recurring Tiers before they are charged.
What It Is
Recurring Tiers can now be configured to offer a free trial, giving customers an opportunity to try the Tier before billing begins.
What Users Can Do
Administrators can enable Offer a free trial when configuring a recurring Tier to make a trial period available before customers are charged.
For Administrators, Workspace Managers & Platform Users
These updates focus on giving organizations more flexibility over how their MUD XR Platform experience is presented, managed, and offered to users:
- Platform users can personalize their experience with System, Light, or Dark appearance settings that stay synchronized across XRHub, XR Creator Studio, and the Metaverse.
- Workspace managers can upload and manage custom web Pages, with XRHub automatically creating a unique route for each uploaded Page.
- Administrators can organize users into Groups and apply shared Roles and Subscription Templates, reducing the need to configure permissions and limits individually.
- Tier managers can create percentage-based promotions and offer free trials for recurring Tiers.
Together, these updates make the MUD XR Platform more customizable for users while providing organizations with more efficient tools for managing content, access, and subscription experiences.
